Why You Should Use A Travel Professional: Reason Four - I Have Relationships You Don't
Relationship. That's a word you probably don't readily associate with what I do as a travel professional. It is a very important word. I build relationships daily with other travel professionals, clients, suppliers as well as people in industries not directly connected to travel to create the best experiences possible for those who have entrusted me with their dreams. I have connections and access that you don't. These relationships translate into teamwork to reach a common goal that benefits everyone. Especially you.
This is the point where you are probably thinking you are pretty well connected yourself since you are a premier member of your hotels frequent guest program or a platinum member of your preferred airlines frequent flyer program. You are correct in knowing that this affords you some benefits not readily available to everyone else, this isn't all there is to building a meaningful relationship or being well connected. These companies have built loyalty through their rewards programs and have a relationship with you, however what I'm talking about are industry relationships that help me help you in a every situation from beginning to end. I'm talking about having an industry relationship where I can call someone and we work together as a team to find a solution to curate authentic and meaningful experiences that you will talk about for years to come.
Now you're curious about what that means for you. What types of experiences can be had if only you had the right connections and access to the right people? What can you do beyond the ordinary experiences that everyone can have? Where can you stay and who can you meet that may not otherwise be possible or thought of? Can you really hire a private guide to take you on a back country ski tour in Antarctica? Can you surprise your husband for his 40th birthday with a fighter jet experience? Can you have a Lewis and Clark experience in the Yukon? What about the Mt. Everest Base Camp Party you've always coveted? Where would you begin to look for those quirky experiences that you have always dreamed of doing except you don't know how to execute them? Now are you starting to see why the relationships I have fostered and maintained are important?
Relationships are about networking as well as team work to create a common roadmap that leads to a common goal - you getting everything you desire before you even knew it existed.
